AUTUMN TO DO LIST…

Autumn is a wonderful time of the year, although its beginning to get a little colder and darker it also means, roaring fires, warm drinks and cosy nights in. Here are a few things I love about this time of year.

Buying warm accessories

I love to pop into Penny’s/Primark this time of year and pick up some lovely cosy scarves, hats and gloves.  They have some gorgeous ones currently in store.

Having an Autumn themed Coffee or hot chocolate

Of course everyone has heard of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte and as fabulous and yummy as that is there are some other amazing drinks that can make you feel all cosy such as a Roasted Hazelnut latte from Costa or the Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate from Insomnia.

Watching a Halloween themed movie

Everyone loves a good Halloween Movie.  Now I’m not talking about really scary movies or anything, something fun and classic like Hocus Pocus is perfect for a night in by the fire.

Going for a walk

On a nice bright Autumn evening when the sun is shining but there is definitely a chill in the air, I love to get out for a nice walk and just enjoy the last bit of daylight before the night comes in.

Buying a pumpkin and Autumn accessories for your home

I always like to pick up a few bits for the house, Some nice coloured flowers for the table, a few pumpkins to decorate the front door and a nice cosy blanket for the sofa. These little touches are a lovely way to decorate your home.

Lighting an Autumn candle

I am yet to meet anyone who doesn’t love lighting a warm autumnal candle in the evenings, filling the house and making it smell so cosy.

Have a Halloween lush bath

This is one of my favourite things to do throughout the year but especially at this time.  Lush always bring out some amazing Halloween themed goodies for the bath and shower.

I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful time of year as much as I do.

Let me know some of your favourite things to do this Autumn.

Love and Hugs
